An experienced financial services professional, Michael Sordyl holds credentials as a Chartered Life Underwriter® (CLU®), a Chartered Financial Consultant® (ChFC®), and a Retirement Income Certified Professional® (RICP®). Prior to becoming a financial advisor, Michael Sordyl gained experience as a small business owner, providing computer programming and analysis services to Fortune 1000 companies for 25 years.
Apart from his professional responsibilities, Michael Sordyl is active in numerous community organizations. A trustee of the Promedica Physician Continuum Services Board, he also serves on Promedica’s Planned Giving Committee and assists potential donors in developing a financial strategy. In the past, he served on the board of the Toledo Opera and cochaired the Toledo Opera’s Sapphire Ball in 2010. He continues to support the organization as a member of the Toledo Opera Guild, which raises funds in order to preserve opera in Toledo.
When he is not working, Mr. Sordyl enjoys playing golf, cooking, and sailing. An avid traveler, he has visited such destinations as France, Italy, Ecuador, Alaska, and Tahiti.
